The Best Article I've Read About What To Do Now

Buffet was on CNBC yesterday and said some very interesting things. But this op-ed from the WSJ is the first thing I've read that provides some concrete guidance based on lessons learned in the past.

I just read Krugman. Dude's been all over this shit since day one.

I think his and Dodd's plan - have the government provide equity rather than purchase bad securities - makes the most sense. It solves what Wall St claims is the problem (lack of capital), insulates the government from further risk, and doesn't require the kind of active management mentioned in the WSJ op-ed.

Also, Ben Bernanke is kind of dumb. That seems important.
